FREEEEE DAY!

Today, we had a free day! So stoked. We decided that we would hike in a nature reserve called Jonkershoek (we pronounce in Yonkers Hook, but that's probably wrong). It was quite the adventure. We didn't exactly know where we were going so we just started walking. About 3 miles later, we got to the trail head (which was 17.1 km, like 10 miles). It was essentially stairs carved into the side of a mountain for 2.5 miles, then we just zig zagged up the face. It was incredibly beautiful. We hiked by waterfalls and then turned back. We did like a 13.5 mile loop, so that was nice!

Now we are home just hanging out and thinking about going to a braai (it's basically like a bbq, but grander). I'll let ya know how that goes... tomorrow it's off to Cape Point to see warm weather penguins and where the two oceans meet. Should be pretty nice!
